Being an Antropologie fan I always wondered how much fun the store designers and buyers must have traveling the world for inspirations! Now we all have a chance to join their travels via the Sundance Channel and its new series featuring Keith Johnson -- the buyer-at-large for Anthropologie. He travels around the world to explore and search for the most unusual and unique artistic objects, furniture and textiles each culture has to offer.

Man Shops Globe is following Keith from flea markets in Paris to remote villages in India and obscure art studios in Turkey in his quest for the most unique and unusual decorative objects from around the world. (I'm jealous!)

The adventure doesn’t stop there though – Johnson also mingles with the local artists and artisans to gain an understanding chat about their inspiration behind each piece (and gain some inspiration for himself).  Who knows, you might even see him create something on the spot!

In the premiere episode, Johnson navigates through France in search of large-scale furniture for Anthropologie stores in the US and new locations opening in the UK.

Man Shops Globe premieres on Wednesday (10/7) @10pm on Sundance Channel.
