While fans are waiting for another exciting season for the fashion forward "Project Runway", TV networks try to get a piece of this hot reality drama.

Lifetime Network announced Monday that The Weinstein Co. (PR producer) has signed a five-year deal with the femme-centric cabler to take over the show - effective this November. 

In a statement, the Weinsteins thanked NBC and Bravo for helping nurture the show into a hit, but said “having Lifetime’s unique cable reach will ensure that the show will continue to grow and expand in the years to come.”

NBC and Bravo replied with a legal fight in court...

While networks will be battling over their rights, show fans and designers might be the winners in the situation. If Bravo gets their rights and airs season 5 in July, Lifetime will follow with Season 6 as early as November 2008. Means three Project Runway seasons in one year!!
