I've been always fascinated by brands, by the ways they come to life and rooted deeply into our reality. We store lots of brand logos and values in our brains without even realizing it. Every good brand starts with a mission, then slogan, logo and of course the product itself. Every good brand holds some emotional value, otherwise we'll never relate to it. As someone that worked in the branding and advertising industry I still don't know if I cracked their secret - what makes one brand successful and other a failure. Is it really all in the right colors or a catchy phrase? A good way to help find out some answers is looking into the history of successful brands. I found this website today that does a great job in showcasing the biggest world's brands, their history, slogans and most memorable ads. I could really spend hours there -
