The online world was buzzing today about another celebrity putting her name on a clothing line - Katie Holmes apparently is about to release her own clothing line called Katie Holmes for Armani.

This is very different HeidiWood by Heidi Montag, Paris Hilton for Kitson or even Lindsay Lohan's leggings line. Armani is a big deal! Armani is reputation, couture, luxury, all these expensive qualities that are not necessarily go together with slapping a celebrity name on a label.

According to the rumors, Katie’s first collection, out spring 2009, will be designed for toddlers. But that’s not all! Mrs. Cruise,  will then create a line for older children for Fall 2009 and then women’s clothes and handbags for Fall 2010. 

Of course Katie's rep is denying the rumors, but I'd say nowadays everything is possible...
