Another group of hopefuls occupied Times Square this week, auditioning for a chance to be on the next Project Runway season. From what it looks like in this NY Times article, the average contestants age went much higher, with 54, 57 and 41 years old designers jumping on the reality tv trend.
Maybe it's the recent network switch from Bravo to Lifetime, but the producers are definitely aiming for more mature and established designers these days.
With that said, it's going to be very tough for them to raise the bar from the previous season...
