Last night the Accessories Council hosted the 13th Annual ACE Awards honoring individuals and companies who have furthered the awareness and use of accessories.  The night included a cocktail reception at the beautiful Cipriani on 42nd Street followed by a dinner and award ceremony hosted by Robert Verdi.

The honorees included Diane Von Furstenberg - Accessory Visionary Award; Blake Mycoskie of Tom’s Shoes-Humanitarian Award; Zappos.com-Retailer of the Year; Gilt Groupe-Retail Innovation; V Magazine-Magazine of the Year, and  Lady Gaga, who was in attendance to receive her Stylemaker Award, looking covered up more than usual, besides the pantless part, of course. Her outfit , a variation of Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 runway look (below), included a buttoned up shirt with a satin bra on top of it. The inverted lingerie trend worries me a bit with its possibility to cross over from runways and red carpets to the streets and who knows, maybe even offices... What do you think?
