I almost didn't recognize Paula Abdul on the first photo, taken at the screening of 'Precious'. She looks young and edgy rocking the skinny high waisted leather pants, a fitted jacket and the wavy hair.

What a contrast to the much older look from last week's 'This Is It' premiere, where she wore a bright blue strapless gown. Maybe covering up isn't a bad thing on the red carpet?...
