Olympics Opening Ceremony Fashion: Best Dressed.
Olympics Opening Ceremony Fash...

Who knew 2008 Beijing Olympic games would have a special fashion "challenge": each country dressed their athletes in their best sport/casual looks. It was mostly about classic sport blazers, polos and casual pants for men and sporty skirts and jackets for women.

Some looked very chic like the US team dressed by American sportwear king himself - Ralph Lauren. (main photo)

I liked the classic looking Brits:

and the funky looking Netherlands team in light-colored suits with orange neckties.

The German team looked a bit too corporate, but stylish:

As always, French kept things chic with navy berets and red gallic sashes.
