Paula Abdul surprises us on the red carpet with her gorgeous yellow gown and gold details by the less-known Middle Eastern designer Basil Soda.

Paula has definitely revisited her style recently, making us (almost) forget her 80s look, and her Grammy's fashion choice is another proof to that.

The designer Basil Soda is definitely a name to watch on the red carpet.

Love the dress, love Paula, but do not love the dress ON Paula. She is too petite to carry the torso line, but the color was divine on her. I think her coif could have been more loosely framed also.
