It looks like Rihanna has finally recovered from her rough patch and she is back on the scene, the fashion scene I mean. She's been spotted around NYC for the entire week, attending various fashion events and openings. 

For the 3rd Annual DKMS Linked Against Leukemia Gala at Cipriani Rihanna arrived dressed to kill in a metallic top and platform boots, from this Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 09/10 collection.

She definitely takes the 'big shoulders" trend seriously, and I must say it works with her style pretty well.
