This latest photo from London runways reminds me a quote from one of the Seinfeld episodes, when Elaine tells Jerry about Mr.Peterman's small men's carryall:

"It's not a purse, it's European." 

Since that Seinfeld episode aired in 1998 men embraced the purses, in forms of tote bags and duffels. Thanks to celebrities like Kanye West and Tom Brady men with purses are no more laughed at. This latest James Long collection shown in London this week suggests that clutches might be the next "It" thing for men's accessories. If you try to avoid stereotyping there is no reason to think men don't need an evening clutch to hold their belongings on a fancy night out...
