DVF runway
Diane Von Furstenberg is one of those designers that everyone is looking forward to their say at the New York Fashion Week. A great innovator and true visionary designer she always delivers a fashion statement. DVF spring consisted of her signature prints, which are getting a new spin here, warm colors and lots of casual chic that looks bold and unpretentious at the same time. By updating her famous wrap dress with a new maxi length and a loose cut she might be making what's going to be the new 2008 hit. Here, like in many other runways head pieces are getting as much attention as the clothes. From straw hats to head scarves, they compliment the entire look and add sophistication. Dresses are certainly a DVF niche that she has mastered during the years, and she showcases her skills here ranging from sport knitted mini dresses to long flowing printed casual gowns. She has a unique talent of making a luxurious casual wear and her garments have that timeless chic appeal that would suit any closet. DVF at her best!
