Nanette Lepore collection shown today at the New York fashion week was one of the most inspiring I've seen. Every single piece there was a pure expression of creativity and it all worked together like a perfect designer vision. Signature prints and feminine cuts came to live in a contemporary silhouettes drawing inspiration from the 60s. Spring coats covering knee-high dresses and finished by printed headbands awoke in me nostalgia for old French movies with their coquettes chic. It was a pure celebration of the modern girl with an old school flavor. Dreamy, inspired, playful and so feminine.
