Reem Acra collection shown at the Bryant Park last Sunday was similar to color explosion. She has fearlessly explored the basic solid hues - yellow, green, red, purple, painting it on silk and organza and creating quite a splash on the runway. Finishing floral prints dresses with bold and solid satin belts, she created a great continuity for her story. It was one of the shows where styling played a great role and I have to give some shared credit here to the show stylist. Styling played an important role in making the show cohesive. We've seen lots of bright hues balanced by neutrals this season, but Reem Acra was one of the few who went all the way with the color. Every look had that "wow" factor that is almost signature to her already. Coming from the bridal fashion world, Reem Acra knows how to make unforgettable dresses.
