Don't you just love designers' sketches? Today we got a first sneak peek at Rebecca Taylor's Spring 2009 collection, which she will be showing at New York fashion week on Thursday, September 11th.

Rebecca Taylor’s Spring 2009 Collection is inspired by the global traveler, flowers from her home garden, and ethnic prints with a feminine twist.  Print mixed tops and dresses, light weight cashmere cardigans, and versatile bohemian beaded pieces that will transition seamlessly from day to night round out the collection.  The color palette includes pretty, dreamy colors with shots of purple crayon, watermelon, and apple green.  Rebecca Taylor’s favorite piece this Spring is a lightweight, paisley printed silk dress that evokes walks through the lavender fields of Province.

“The Rebecca Taylor girl for Spring 2009 is a bohemian world traveler.  She mixes her inherited couture pieces from her French actress mother with great finds gathered from exotic locations around the globe.”
