Just because you don't recognize this name right now, doesn't mean you won't be standing in line to get a piece of Jonathan Saunders for Target by this October.
The London-based designer, who showed his debute collection in New York during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week for the first time in February and created a capsule line for Topshop that debuted this spring, was just named creative director of Pollini last week. Now he is bringing his name to Target in hope to officially establish his brand name in the industry reach wider audience.
It will be interesting to see how the a tightly tailored, sophisticatedly pleated collection will translate into the mass affordable Target line. Stay tuned for the first looks!
