I would like to personally congratulate our dear WANAMAKER - Wakana Koike - on winning the first "It" Designer competition!

I'm proud of her and the work she has done during this short period of time. Her collection, inspired by marine theme and featuring original prints specially ordered from Japanese factory,  scored a big round of applauds on the runway and the highest score from the judges!

It's rare to find a designer who's vision is so original and unique, yet very wearable and can fit in any woman's clothing. Wanamaker is a true fashion artist, and I'm sure many women out there (including myself) would love to be canvases for her work.

I can't wait to see her collection launching for sale here, on MyItThings.com (and I'm sure in many other retailers), so stay tuned for Spring 09!
