Never boring, always in her own unique way, that is Bea Szenfeld. Her show at Stockholm Fashion Week yesterday had a clear vintage theme, another key to Bea's designs. Playing with contrast, both in proportions and masculine/feminine and adding a feeling of both the fifties and the twenties. Always present are swimsuits with a haute couture look. All in all - Bea Szenfeld.
My personal favorite? The black and white dress that matched or mixed with the right accessories would be perfect for a lot of occasions.
About Bea Szenfeld:
Bea Szenfeld got known to a larger public when she featured in the TV show Fashion House and ended up as the winner of the competition an landed an internship at Stella McCartney. She has been active as a designer since 2002 and launched her first prêt-a-porter collection the same year.
"Playfulness is an important part of her design, and Bea Szenfeld's clothes never look boring as she continues to challenge and amuse herself in her work. Accuracy and detail are also keywords - a piece of clothing designed by Bea Szenfeld should be beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside, since she believes one of the most effective methods of communication is through fashion."
