Ladies, get ready for HeidiWood by Anchor Blue - that' s the name of a new collection the Hills starlet Heidi Montag is about to "design" for LA boutique Anchor Blue.

Yes, you heard it right, Heidi is not only a talented actress and a singer, she is also a fashion designer!

According to the Anchor Blue announcement Heidi spent a year in Italy during college studying apparel design. "Fashion is something that has always been a passion of mine," she says and adds, "I really look forward to creating an affordable, fun and sexy line with Anchor Blue." The line which will consist of Juniors tops, bottoms, tees and accessories. "I plan to get my hands dirty on this one. This is something I have always wanted to do and Anchor Blue has enabled me to be an integral part of the design process. Each and every piece will have my initial input, feedback and final approval stamped all over it."

Lauren Conrad must be really upset, especially by the fact that her frenemy collection will be a bit more affordable than hers. Heidi' s casual jeans and tshirts will be sold for $10-$60, while Lauren' s jersey dresses and tops go for as much as $80-$170!!

You can get Lauren Conrad new Spring 2008 collection on her site starting this week, while Heidi' s will be available at Anchor Blue later this month. Stay tuned for the retail wars!
