It seems like so often we "fashion conscious" individuals are looking for the solution to get away from traditionally clothing ourselves.We search for the newest clothing item that will catch the eye of a bystander. This coming fall many rave of the new bright colors to "brighten" up the coming autumn, an attempt to escape the dreary days of October. However, I predict something else in this crisp air. 

There are so many valuable, fashionable treasures planted carefully into your hometown boutique, vintage shop or even thrift store. We just tend to look away quickly and instead move our eye to the high end department store or brand name building. It is such a shame, all of the classic Chanel that hasn't been touched in years, waiting for us to apply it to our outfits for fall. 

I encourage you to sift through the mounds of aged clothing in the closest "Salvation Army" and discover some amazing item for this coming season! The oversized sweater has become a staple in many wardrobes and how unique would it be to have an old Lacoste sweater for as little as ten dollars!

The high waisted skirt has had an immaculate comeback this past year, so this fall, look for thick tights and a warm, high waisted skirt! Pair them with your favorite earth toned flats. Next add that amazing vintage gold necklace you found down the street with a polo sweater. (Oh my! You look so collegiate!)

Make heads turn in your pieced together outfits; vintage and up-and-coming looks united! Grandma's old Louis Vuitton paired with a Just Cavalli, hippi inspired frock. A vintage shift dress paired with a pair of daring Dolce & Gabanna heels. Collaborate with the contemporary, and let it have a taste of tradition.
