Entertainment weekly announces top 25 entertainers of the year.
The editors divided the winners into five school-book categories: prodigies, class clowns, most popular, most buzzed-about and valedictorians.
But the winner, in a category of her own, for the 2007 Entertainer of the Year: J.K. Rowling. This was her year, the last HP book is out, around the same time the latest HP movie was in movie theatres, the next one is in process, and lets not forget the 400 million HP copies that were sold.
The rest of the winners for 2007 (as per EW) are:
Valedictorians: George Clooney, The Sopranos, Angelina Jolie, Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, The Cable Queens.
Most Popular: Matt Damon (of course), Johnny Depp, Katherine Heigl, Carrie Underwood, Kanya West.
Prodigies: Zac Efron, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Shia Labeouf.
Class Clowns: Will Farrell and Andy McKay, Tina Fey, Apatow Gang, The Simpsons, Vanessa Williams.
Most Buzzed About: Gerard Butler, Amy Winehouse, Tyler Perry, Mad Men.
