Every celebrity deserves a few faux pas every once in a while, and Zac Efron is no exception. Now i'm not saying that it's okay for him to wear foundation (because it's NOT), but he didn't make Vanessa Hudgens send those pictures, and he can be forgiven for his Michael Jackson style dance moves in HSM2's "Bet on It." There's no denying that he's got talent to boot, an impressive list of starring roles at only twenty. Mix that in with the fact that his looks are undeniably stunning. The kid is gorgeous.
That in mind, what was his stylist thinking when they decided on his look for the Feb. cover of "Details" Magazine???? When it came in the mail, my jaw dropped, and not in a good way.
I took a second look at it and decided it wasn't all bad. The black on black looked great, as did the skinny tie--so chic. But all i could focus on was the trainwreck that was Zac Efron from the neck up. I didn't even know he could grow facial hair, but I'm so not digging the inkling of a moustache he's got going on there. But that's nothing when compared to the hair on his head. I realize Zac is primaraly a musical star, but the Danny Zuko 'do is not working for him. Sorry, but you gotta be John Travolta to pull that one off.
I'm not sure what Details was going for with this kind of look for the cover, but let's face it: smothering Zac's head in grease is not going to make him look edgy. Because he isn't edgy; he's Disney Channel. We've had enough Disney stars flush thier careers down the toilet by trying to change their image. So let's keep the Zac we (or at least, I) know and love.
