Jane's Addiction reminded the world that they still rock like nobody else this past Wednesday at the NME Awards USA.
The original four members, Perry ,Farrell, Dave Navarro, Stephen Perkins, and Eric Avery, shared a stage again for the first time in about a decade at the El Rey Theatre in L.A.
The set list was heavy with hits including "Stop," "Jane Says," and "Mountain Song" and the crowd was full of hard-hitters like Alice Cooper, Mark Ronson, and The Killers.
Farrell didn't disappoint with his trademark flamboyant style, decked in a skin tight dominatrix ensemble. Dave Navarro went classic as well, shirtless and sweaty like the good old days.
According to Rolling Stone, the crowd "went crazy when Farrell introduced Avery. The bassist has regularly declined reunion offers of any sort. He almost didn’t agree to the NME Awards, but Avery changed his mind at the last minute, explaining in a statement that he said yes because it was about 'honoring the past instead of trying to recreate it.'"
