HOW TO ENTER:

STEP A.  Sign up or Login to MyItThings.com.  

STEP B.  Add your sketch to the “My Designs” section on your profile page.

STEP C:  add ILUS in the tags section on "Add design" screen. Once published, you will be able to see your sketch on the submissions page.

You are allowed to submit multiple sketches, but only one will be competing in the semi-finals. Please upload each design individually and do not combine several garments/ sketches in one posting. You can edit your designs at any time during the competition. IMPORTANT NOTE: Once you delete a design submitted to the competition - it loses the accumulated rating.

Once submitted, all sketches will be available for users' view and rating on the contest submissions page. 25 “semi-finalists” are selected by audience ranking. In order to vote you must:

STEP A.  Sign up or Login to MyItThings.com. 

STEP B. Visit the contest main page and click on your favorite sketches.

STEP C. Once you are on the individual sketch page you will be able to rate it by clicking on one of the 5 stars located below the design name (1 star being the lowest rating, 5 the highest).   

The final score for each designer will be calculated from the combination of the total number of people voted and the stars scored (i.e. each additional scored star will add 1 point to the total score).  

COMPETITION SCHEDULE:

November 5th 12AM EST- November 30th 11:59Pm EST: design submissions and voting. NOTE: The earlier you submit your designs, the higher your chances to receive more votes.

December 1st, 2008 – The judge to review the Twenty Five semi-finalists.

December 2nd, 2008 – 3 finalists are announced. Each finalist is given $300 and 1 week to create a dress.

December 10th, 2008 - the finalists upload their final dresses to MyItThings.com, and ship them to NY for the finale party.

December 15th, 2008 (tentative) - MyItThings and ILUS to host a party in NYC to reveal one winning dress, which will be carried in the Ilus store for party rentals.
