Flower Power: Spring 2012 Floral Trend Hits the Runway
Flower Power: Spring 2012 Flor...

Although they’re not forever like diamonds, flowers are a girls’ best friend. Possessing a natural and radiant beauty but also existing in a rather dainty and fragile state, these blossoms are likened to be more precious, therefore have earned such a right to be deeply cherished. That’s exactly what designers have done.

Roses, daffodils, orchids and daisies galore. And quite pedestal worthy as they spring up here and there all over the runways. This season, florals are in full bloom perennially… from head to toe. Prabal Gurung, Rodarte, Altuzarra, Jason Wu and Peter Som’s Spring/Summer 2012 RTW collections include floral prints such as roses, daises, violets, lilies and sunflowers on frocks, blazers, trousers, bikinis and even evening wear.

Albeit designers have revamped some of these transient blossoms into undying ones on pieces for models to strut the runways, we at Creative Contrast, have these floret gems stocked, appearing on our scarves, earrings, wraps and cuffs for you to take to the streets. That’s the power of a flower. It can be eternal.

Creating a peaceful and meditative aura and having these perennial beauties exude a vibrant and everlasting charm for your and others’ viewing pleasure have never been so easy. Just opt for florals this Spring!

New florals from “Leigh & Luca” and “Tolani” are a must-have! Take Tolani’s “Floral” or “Shibori” scarf, which is  made of 100% crushed silk. The vibrant and stunning colors on them, along with their soft textures and lightweight qualities, make them garden party essentials.

New collections from Joli and Julie Rofman jewelry debuted pieces just in time for you to take advantage of this trend! Joli’s spherical “Dangle” earring and Julie Rofman’s geometric “Rio” cuff come in mixed and vivid colors—perfect accessorizing accents to a Spring look. Besides, nothing screams cool girl chic more than an unconventional, boxy, almost masculine-shaped cuff hanging precariously from your wrist. Effortless.
