Being born an artist I have no choice but to create. I want nothing more than to wake up everyday with a new creative challenge...and that is exactly what my everyday struggle is for...to get me to that place where I live only in my studio with the freedom to roam the lands of inspiration.

Designing has been a natural evolution of my artful endeavors. I began sewing at a very young age but didn't really learn of the impacts of fashion on my world until I began to make evening gowns to wear to my own gallery openings. The excitement of bringing a painting to life by wearing it was immeasurable. Next thing you know I am having fashion shows on opening night while my paintings hang as the back drop. 

 I am inspired by the figurative abstract imagery that pours out of head. I am inspired by the power of music and those performers who make my heart beat and eyes well. I am inspired by the struggles in my heart. I am inspired by the gift of life I have been given.

 I want to share my work with the world. I want bring happiness to loved ones and strangers with the things I create. I want to be the queen of my glorious creative empire...making clothes, paintings, music and dances. I'm on my way.
