When I first heard the book series "Gossip Girl" was going to be made into a TV series I thought, "Oh, why must they ruin everything I love?"  Then the show premiered and I was hooked.  More than hooked.  Obsessed.  I have to record each episode on my DVR so I can watch it wice.  Once to find out what was going on with the characters and the second time just to take in New York City and the clothes.  Oh those clothes!  I think I was first smitten with the show when they filmed in Henir Bendel.  I love that store for more than just it's clothes, cosmetics, and accessories.  The stair railings alone are gorgeous.  So when the show filmed there it combined all that I love: YA books, NYC, fashion and Henri Bendel.

    I love that the show has websites that share what the characters are wearing.  I haven't bought any of the exact items yet, but more than a few of Blair's outfits and accessories have inspired me with my own wardrobe.  

    This show is not just entertaining, it's inspiring!
