Katherine Heigl plays a beautiful doctor on the small screen ("Grey's Anatomy"), and she does it so well that she just received an Emmy award last month. Does this mean she is a medical industry spokesperson now? Hmm... Apparently someone decided she is a great fit to endorse medical uniform, the one of a fashionable kind (I had no idea this kind exist)! Eonline reports that "Scrubs & Beyond proudly announces the exclusive 30-day launch of the Katherine Heigl™ Collection of medical scrubs by Peaches™ Uniforms. This stylish collection of professional medical scrubs is influenced by Katherine Heigl, the Emmy Award-winning actress. Attractive and practical, the collection was inspired by the everyday needs of medical professionals." This press release makes me wonder why this style icon didn't choose something more appropriate for an actress like a houtte couture brand or at least something more casual like GAP. She could always endorse food, cars or electronics. Scrubs are not the best fit for an A-lister and I hope she will learn her lesson next time her agent offers an endorsement deal. You can see her even modeling it on
www.scrubsandbeyond.com. Bad move, Katherine!
