Nina Garcia from 'Project Runway' and ELLE magazine gives her take on the basics everyone needs to know: how to combine colors, what is appropriate to wear to different occasions, how to build a basic wardrobe and some advice on how to create your own signature style. While these subjects are not new to this world, and I'm sure lots of other people gave their take on (including Tim Gunn) I actually thought this book was a helpful read. I could learn few new things so it was already worth it. One thing to not - The Little Black Book is not your "dress on the budget" guide, Nina does have expensive taste, so be careful!
