I went dancing with friends at Mr. Black in NY on a Friday night wearing this. Drinks invariably spill in a club where the main goal is to dance, dance, dance. The Nuvela dress I was sporting is made of nylon. Therefore: the solution of not worrying about spillage, sweat stains and club rah rah. Hooray.

I purchased this dress at the opening night of Nolcha store in conjunction with Shane and Shawn store on Mulberry Street between Spring and Prince. The store is dubbed a recessionista store for a reason: eleven indie designers, gorgeous finds and not a dent on the credit card.

My other favorite thing from the store was the Marijoli jewelry by Swiss jewelry designer Marielle Byworth. And the shoes by Shane and Shawn are made for those who can't bear to compensate either style nor comfort.
