Halloween is here along with its fashion victims and disasters. At this time of the year, when anything can be worn including kitchen appliances and acrylic paint as a makeup, some rules need to be followed to avoid the disasters which happened to our favorite celebrities :

1. False lashes, blush, red lipsticks - there is lots of make up you can play with, but make sure you don't look like a sad clown when you finished (see Teri Hatcher)

2. Whether you try dress up funny, goth or just clever - make sure you don't show too much. Halloween is not an excuse to walk in your panties on the street (see Rumor Willis)

3. Make sure your costume is recognizable and has some sort of a name . Dressing in one color doesn't make it a costume (see Jamie Lee Curtis)

4. Last but not least - don't overdo it. Paris Hilton's costume looks like something Jean Paul Gaultier would design for her (and run out of fabric)
