$50,000 Diamond encrusted Nike...

The pricey sneakers were presented to Outkast's Antwan "Big Boi" Patton by Laced Up owner Ernel Dawkins and P&C Couture boutique owner Rita Patel. The exclusive sneaker is dipped in 11 carats of chocolate champagne diamonds from India.

"When it came time to consider which celebrity to honor with this shoe, we thought it would be perfect to go with Atlanta's top sneaker head, Antwan "Big Boi" Patton. To us he represents style and affluent flavor", states Ernel Dawkins (Laced Up owner).

And I thought my $150 a pair collectible Adidas are expensive...

Big boi has been know for hil love for high priced sneakers and he is a great pitch man for the shoes but the question should be should "normal" non celebrity shoppers be buying such a shoe? I think that I will pass.
