A new movie about Bob Dylan's life - "I'm Not There" is coming out soon, and looks very promising. being a first movie that was actually approved by the pop icon, we can expect lots of interesting tuns and drama. The impressive cast includes Cate Blanchett, David Cross, Christian Bale, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams Julianne Moore and it goes on. The interesting film concept follows seven characters, each embodying a different aspect of Dylan's life story and music. Each story/ character expresses an aspect of Dylan's mercurial personality and each story is filmed differently, in a style appropriate to its theme: Woody - an 11-year-old black boy, always on the run; Robbie - a womanizing performer, always on the road; Jude (Blanchett) - the young androgynous rock star; John/Jack (Bale) - a folk idol who reinvents himself as an evangelist; Billy (Gere) - the famous outlaw, miraculously alive but growing old. Take a look at the first preview of the film featuring unrecognizable Cate Blanchett.
