In case you wondered which of the new shows will survive and continue to the next season - this should give you some idea.
This fall there have been a record number of new shows (I think), which is great for us, viewers, but extremely challenging for the shows and their networks. The competition is on and some of them raised pretty high bar. Some shows created great buzz prior to the premier date and got great viewership on the first week, which dropped later, while others gained more audience as weeks went by.
This is the list so far, according to TELEVISIONISTA.Net :
1. SAMANTHA WHO, ABC (14.14 million)
2. PRIVATE PRACTICE, ABC (13.26 million)
3. PUSHING DAISIES, ABC (10.91 million)
4. THE BIONIC WOMAN, NBC (10.53 million)
5. WOMEN'S MURDER CLUB, ABC (10.18 million)
6. DIRTY SEXY MONEY, ABC (9.65 million)
7. CANE, CBS (9.41 million)
8. THE BIG BANG THEORY, CBS (9.07 million)
9. BIG SHOTS, ABC (8.69 million)
10. CHUCK, NBC (8.42 million)
I'm personally surprised by Samantha Who taking the top spot, but then I have to admit I never watch it, so maybe I should start now...
