Nail polishes are back! Your nails are one of your accessories that can make a big statement.

       Now that fall is here, all the nail polishes are very deep. You should be buying matte or satin colors, matte meaning colors that have no shimmer to them but they can have shine. Nude sandy colors are perfect for a lighter look but you can also go with the deep dark greens and purples that reflect black in some lights but still have a tint to them. OPI has a new fall collection with beautiful matte colors.

       If you have never used OPI I will let you know that the brushes are much bigger than the china glaze brushes. I personally prefer the china glaze brushes over the wider OPI brushes but its up to you. I suggest you try OPI because their new nail polishes are stunning!

       Another idea for nail polishes are buying MAC pigments. Everyone always assumes that pigments are only used for eyeshadows but they have many other uses; one of them being nail polishes. All you do is pour a small amount of clear nail polish on a paper plate or such and you sprinkle in as much pigment as you want into the clear nail polish. You mix the two together until you get the desired tone. Then, just take your clear nail polish brush and paint your nails! Make sure you clean the brush before returning to the clear nail polish container.

        So make sure you stock up on nail polishes this season!
