In 1997, Lina moved to London, England where she began working in the fashion industry. In 2000, Lina relocated to New York City to pursue her true passion – a career in the makeup artist industry. Lina has been personally trained by celebrity makeup artist Jeanine Lobell (creator of Stila Cosmetics). While working alongside Lobell, Lina has mastered and refined her talent. She has assisted Lobell with her clientele at multiple red carpet events such as the Academy Awards, the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards, and on photo shoots for A-list publications like Allure, Vogue, W, Elle, Glamour and In Style. After a few years of intensive training with Jeanine Lobell, Lina has managed to establish a distinct image for herself in the versatile industry of makeup. She has worked with some of Hollywood’s most celebrated artists such as Naomi Watts, Natalie Portman, Portia de Rossi, Ellen Barkin, Jewel and Mandy Moore, among others. Lina’s skilled artistry has appeared in publications like Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Interview, Elle Girl, Nylon as well as on the runways for such top designers as Nicole Miller, Betsey Johnson, Nanette Lepore, Alice Roi, and Lily Pulitzer. Lina has collaborated with some of the industry’s most well known photographers such as Ellen Von Unwerth, Nino Munoz, Patrick Fraser, Michael Evanet, Marvin Scott Jarrett, Samantha Rapp, Dove Shore, Viki Forshee and Seth Sabal. Lina has developed a cutting edge style and is quickly becoming one of the makeup industry’s true mainstays.
