YouTube just added "YouTube Remixer" a few days ago, it allows you to edit your videos merg, cut, trim and all online via a browser.
They actually developed nothing new and are using Adobe technology (the late macromedia to be accurate), this is very cool and I suspect will go thru some growing pains until it gets wide adoption by users but this is a step in the right direction for user generated...
