I may just be slow to this because my mother told me she used to use it for her eczema. Oatmeal soap is my new weapon in the fight against acne and facial scars. My skin hates chemicals, I used to use Herbal Logix and it was the only thing that gave me clear skin and didn't irritate it in anyway. Everything else I use ends up either not working or in a cycle. Breakout, use product, break out to chemicals in the product in new area. As far as scars I've used bleaching and facial scar creams, which by no one who's read this fars surprise ended in more breakouts.
SO...
I once again began looking for something that was more so unprocessed or some herbal remedies or simply natural ingredients. A well loved store by myself and many others, LUSH is knowen to carry some great products that are vegan friendly and hand made soaps. I highly recommend them, as the body soaps I've gotten there 1) smell amazing 2)make me feel relaxed and refreshed like nothing else, but before I had gotten down there I found a store in montreal called Sequoia.

I spoke with the woman at the counter about my quest for a simple soap or face wash made of natural ingredients and she said that there oatmeal soap has been knowen to clear acne. This store has various soaps all hand made as well as face mask and body lotions all made without petroleum and the most natural ingredients like sea salts, almonds, soybean oils and rice bran oil.
I know not everyone lives in montreal, they do sell online through their website. Where you can find alot of interesting problems.
Another thing that can be a cool at home project would be to make an acne fighting soap at home. I know my own crafty abilities so I will leave this up to whoever else wants to try it and simply order my soap :P. There is however a website explaining how to make an oatmeal soap also with tea tree oil which is also knowen to help fight acne and is all around just good for regular skin upkeep regime.
