Talk about irony. Self-proclaimed "hockey mom,"Sarah Palin made a puck dropping appearance on Saturday to kick off the NHL season at the Philadelphia Flyer's game. The VP running mate to John McCain was not given a totally warm welcome - there were some cheers at first, but soon, there were several minutes of "booing" from the huge crowd. More here
