As one who adores shopping I absolutely detest the result of said experience: carrying the shopping bags. Fortunately Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has given me a reason to  rethink that stand. A sleek and tres chic reason that I will never want to discard of, which is actaully the point. "You know, I love shopping bags," Karl told Bazaar, "I cannot throw away a nice shopping bag. I always keep them. So I said, 'Let's make one that is supposed to last...this one is impeccable.'" Impeccable indeed, the 'Essential' tote is avialable in sleek black leather with the bright-white CHANEL logo or in milky white leather with black lettering. In either color combo I'd have to say this is the chicest re-usable bag yet.
