Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder; we all see things so differently.I see it in so many things. Sometimes it' s the way my cats are curled up in a ball together, or the pigeons on my windowsill or the morning smog rolling over New York City. Sometimes its applying the right lipstick to just perk up a girl on an off day and make her, or, ahem, me, feel pretty.
Sometimes beauty is a beetle, often considered unsightly! But to me it’s fascinating and gorgeous! How did nature do that? It made those iridescent colors! And that makes me want to apply beetle wing colored eye shadow!
I am a makeup addict; I can' t get enough of it. Growing up with Barbie dolls and all their high femme glamour made me want to be a giant drag queen of a woman! I love big hair and big lips, long eyelashes, high heels and the more make up the better!
Some may think this is wrong, but there are times I wish I could have a full face of makeup on 24-7 false eyelashes included!Conversely, there are days when I don’t put a lick of makeup on and am so thankful for it, allowing my inner tomboy to roam free.Ultimately, beauty is understanding, accepting and honoring yourself. And most significantly, knowing what you like, what you feel good in, what makes you feel good, to the core, skin deep!
