Tim Burton is at it again, and this time he's creating his own version of Alice in Wonderland. Johnny Depp will star in the film, playing the Mad Hatter. Mia Wasikowska has already been cast as the main lead, Alice. Wasikowska is an unknown actress from Australia.
The film will be shot in 3-D after Burton signed a two movie deal with Disney in November last year.
Burton will release Frankenweenie, a remake of his 1984 film, next year, before Alice in Wonderland in 2010, according to IMDB.com.
Depp has already starred in 6 of Tim Burton's creations. I can't wait to see how they come together with this one!
