Of course, Mondays on 'The View' is all about the gossip! However, for me, the gossip was a bit mundane, oh, but, wait a minute...what prompted Whoopi Goldberg to plant a smooch on the lips of Joy Behar?

Calm down people, there's nothing to report here. Whoopi and the ladies were discussing the recent passing(as Whoopi perfers to call death) of the 80 something actor Charleston Heston from Alzheimers disease and prostate cancer. Charleston Heston was known for such great Epic Movies like Ben Hur, Planet Of The Apes and The Ten Commandments...There was,  however, a movie he'd done which caused controversy back in the day.

Whoopi Goldberg was demonstrating to the viewers how when Charleston Heston was a guest on a former talk show she'd hosted called 'Whoopi', she'd asked him if he'd gotten any flack for being the first actor to actually kiss a woman of color in the movies. It was then that Heston said he'd gotten plenty of "Flack!" 

But, why? Whoopi had wanted to know... Heston reportedly answered he didn't know, that he'd simply leaned into the actress and given her a smooch on the lips! Whoopi then proceeded to demonstrate to The Views audience what Charleston Heston did,which had caused her show to quickly cut to commercial. Whoopi leaned in to give Joy a lighthearted smooch on the lips...Just the way Charleston Heston demonstrated  it to her.

Ok, that was it, a simple demonstration from Whoopi Goldberg to you...nothing like that Madonna/Britney thang...shoot.
