You know how some people when they read a good book, they can't wait to go out and tell people about it? Then, you have the folks who just want to keep this little gem to themselves for a bit, of savor the moment? Well, I admit I'm a tad flawed in that sense, but, I'm about to share what I've read now:
Are You Lonesome Tonight? A love story...A true love story between a young man of 18 who would be king, sort of, and a beautiful, young, French girl of 16,named Lucy. The young man? Elvis Presley...The book, published in 1987 was written by a Dary Matera, as told to him by Lucy de Barbin, Elvis Presley's perceived to be 'one true love'. There's love, separation, loss, intrigue, abuse, sadness/ tender moments of sentimental longing captured within the pages of this 'oldie', but 'goodie'
Where was I in 1987? Were some of you even born? It doesn't matter when it comes to matters of the heart, I'd encourage you to go out and find a copy / nearest thrift store/ library/ or maybe ask your mothers? After reading Are You Lonesome Tonight? You're guarenteed to view true love with a different perspective.
I've shared. Feel sooo much better...
