Defining "Luxaholic"

Do you have it bad for wearing the latest 'it' designer duds? Driving the baddest automobile on the planet? Sporting the latest 'celebrity' hairstyle? Vacationing in hot spots of the rich and famous? Do you go all out in finding the coolest gadgets ie, ipods, cellphones, laptops, tv's?

In other words, are you addicted to all things "luxury", even though you, maybe, can't afford it? If you're one of those people who must live , breathe and strive to find avenues for obtaining stuff that's way beyond your means, then, you might be classified as a "luxaholic". Many celebrities admit to being luxaholics, but, they can afford to be!

Although such sites like rent a bag, as in designer purses/ handbags and many fashion designers are teaming up with such stores like Target, Khols, Walgreens, and.are making their clothes/accessories more affordable for folks who want to live like the glamour of Celebrity, it's the need to live the luxurious/expensive lifestyle of the rich and famous that draws the Luxaholic...

This trend is becomming sooo popular that The Windy City is already sending out casting calls for the next "luxaholic" to appear on an upstart Magazine Show sporting the same title...

I find is you let labels go and take the sheer essence of what makes that label what it is, you can have a little piece of lux without being sucked in completely to being a "luxaholic". Like who doesn't want a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, I know I do but what I loved about them was the platform foot and thin heel with the red bottoms which I found and it wasn't a complete knockoff, it wasn't the exact thing but it still gives me a touch of what I was looking for.
