The 'Dark' Ambiance Of The Oscars
02/25/2008 12:49 PM

There were the usual stars coming out for the glitz of The Oscars...dressed to the nines...Diamonds sparkled here and there, but, the fashions appeared a bit restrained. The Reds were popping on some of the women, like Kathering Heigl,  Laura Linney , Anne Hathaway, and a young Miley Cyrus.

The men played it safe dressed in Black tuxs, offset by a few white accessories like the hankerchief sported in  Regis Phelbin' s lapel... and let' s not forget, Spike Lee' s adorable white tie , shirt, and hat, but, the handsome Javier Bardem in his slim fitted black tux about sealed it for me...

I agree! Although I was glad to see so many international nominees making it to the Oscars (Javier Bardem is on my favorites list since "Goya" and Marion Cotillard is the most charming actress these days!) but the overall ceremony was lacking the usual Oscar moments, those they'd play over and over for years...
